On the third episode, I talk about our most hallowed of American-made traditions, The Academy Awards. But…it’s not exactly what you think. Less than an all-out angry rant, this is more about my disappointment concerning the lack of diversity in Hollywood and the strange notion that we should even give out awards for art. The systemic problem of the prejudice within the Academy is investigated, Spike Lee speaks his mind, Brando’s 1972 Oscar win is given the spotlight, Mac and Cheese is mentioned more than once, and above all else, this all boils down to one white podcaster’s opinion.
